Commercial Support Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Be the office-based point of contact for your portfolio of clients/prospects.
- Responsible for the smooth operation of Commercial Support activities - monitoring the departmental email box and carrying out follow up actions)
- Ensure all client requirements, enquiries and requests are dealt with professionally, accurately, and within agreed timescales.
- Contribute to ensuring that within EMEA, the client perspective is always considered in decision making.
- Support Relationship Management and Sales Activities
- Responsible for supporting clients requests regarding operational questions.
- Provide support in sales processes for all clients, as required.
- Contribute as required to input into sales pitches, product amendments and new product launches as required based upon your experience and knowledge of your clients.
- Build and develop relationships with key client contacts and maintain strong Utilise and update SalesForce to ensure your own knowledge of your clients and encourage this in others within the team and elsewhere in the firm.
- Support activities related to Customer Due Diligence/Know Your Client, Client Events and Client Communication.
Process Ownership
- Develop and maintain appropriate procedures to ensure client regulatory and contractual deliverables are met.
- Identify any weaknesses in our ability to deliver to a high standard, and actively seek, develop and implement pragmatic solutions, driving change both within the Institutional team and elsewhere in the organisation as necessary to achieve high standards of client service at all times.
- Participate as required in project work.
Risk & Control
- Ensure that you have the appropriate skills, knowledge and network to carry out your role effectively, by gaining the necessary training and mentoring and actively exchanging operational, product and client knowledge with your colleagues in the team and elsewhere in the firm.
- Participate in audits carried out by internal AAM auditors, discuss the findings with the auditors and implement audit findings within stated timeframes
- Responsible for handling requests from auditors of clients
- Participate in Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA) and execute assigned actions
- Responsible for compliance with the regulatory and legislative regime as it impacts your role and for ensuring that risks are identified, reported and managed accordingly.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- A completed bachelor degree in Finance, Business Investment of Economic and 0-3 years of work experience
- Good knowledge of the market place and of the wider investment world, including investment markets.
- Excellent level of numeracy
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), in Dutch an English is a must.
- Customer oriented and data driven
- Team player with a sense of humour
