The Job:
The GTS Operations Office is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective IT operations, including IT Business Management, Project and Portfolio Management, Communications, Metrics, and Strategic relationship Management.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to gather information and analyse data for essential business reporting. Using Excel, you’ll investigate the data to extract insights and compile management information into professional PowerPoint slides with useful commentary for our executives to assess performance against business objectives. You’ll also play a key part in process improvement, understanding where we can apply AI elements to assist automation.
What You Will Do:
Maintain and update Technology documentation sites with content and articles pertinent to Technology staff.
Monitor and report key performance indicators relevant to IT operations and progress towards strategic objectives and roadmaps.
Identify, implement and monitor performance metrics to evaluate progress of operational, financial and organizational performance.
Partner with IT Services owners to compile key IT operational and service management metrics/information for monthly and quarterly reporting.
Source agendas and create materials for internal leadership meetings, townhalls, and other employee meetings.
Create PowerPoint presentations for IT leadership as needed.
Serve as a point of contact within Technology regarding projects execution, service management and initiatives requiring Business Management support and guidance.
Document and present IT process flows, highlighting key steps and control points, in alignment with the IT controls framework.
Develop, coordinate and implement action plans to improve processes and enhance collaboration between IT employees.
Coordinate, schedule and facilitate digital training content for IT employees when necessary.
Compose/edit articles for the global intranet & newsletter.
Assist with various projects & initiatives, as assigned.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Experience in IT business management, project or programme management, business analysis, financial management or relevant field
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills to tailor information based on the intended audience
Organisational skills and the ability handle multiple responsibilities
Business acumen and general IT knowledge
Strong proficiency in MS applications/O365, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
It’d also be great – but not essential - if you’ve got:
PMP/PMI/Agile certifications
Experience in the financial services industry
