We have massive plans to expand our team and we are looking for Full Stack Developers to join us on our journey.
Technology is at the centre of our organisation, it’s pivotal to the way we do business everyday and achieving our mission and we need Developers to help us with this. As a Developer, you will be responsible the development of complex applications, ensuring high-quality code, and driving technical excellence across the team. You will also:
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders within our business to deliver innovative software solutions.
- Design and develop robust and scalable web applications using ReactNative, AngularJS, and other relevant technologies to our business.
- Drive best practices for coding standards, code reviews, and ensure adherence to quality assurance processes across the Aegon technology estate.
- Implement and maintain a strong testing framework to ensure the reliability and quality of developed software.
- Run and operate each capability through all lifecycle stages including production environments to ensure it operates within defined SLAs.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, configuration management (Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible), and infrastructure as code (Terraform and CloudFormation).
- Knowledge and experience of serverless computing and AWS Lambda functions.
- Knowledge and experience of APIs and micro service architecture.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in agile development teams.
- Experience in the delivery of traditional code artefacts (Java, Python, SQL) in addition to IaC artefacts (Cloud Formation, Terraform, AWS CLI)
